Our Social Workers & Community Development Officers
Our team of social workers and Community Development Officers provide services for the three islands. While they are assigned to our respective administrative offices in Grand Cayman and Cayman Brac, they actively conduct their work in various community-based locations including homes, schools, hospitals, courts and in residential homes for children and older persons.
Residential Staff
The Department has responsibility for the operation of four residential care facilities which provide care to children and the elderly. These homes are supervised by Resident Care supervisors (Registered Nurses) who oversee the care provided by Resident Care Workers. These are:
